Why volunteer with us?
Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, learn new skills, help your community and have lots of fun! We also offer 10% discount on all our events for volunteers.
When?
Join us for a community volunteer day every Wednesday and Friday from 10-3 – no experience is required!
As such, we aim for our volunteer days to be inclusive, rewarding, and accessible to people of all ages and experience levels so that as many people can benefit from spending time together on the land.
What you’ll be doing
Wedmore Village Farm is a multifunctional community space with lots to get stuck into. From helping with farm duties such as planting, weeding, watering and harvesting, to helping at events, with the campsite, there’s always lots to do!
A typical day will include a team gathering and a couple of hours of helping out on the farm, followed by a delicious shared volunteer lunch provided by our chef. Volunteering at Wedmore Village Farm offers a chance to connect with nature, learn some new skills, and become part of a welcoming Somerset community farm.
Whether you're planting, crop tending, or general farm tasks, volunteers play a vital role in supporting the work we do and the impact we make.
How?
All you need to do is show up at the farm on a Wednesday or Friday from 10am, and we will guide you through the rest. We look forward to greeting you!
